Today was a relatively short 60 miles, up through Cheshire and along some big roads around Runcorn, Widnes and St Helens.
Highlights included my Dad joining us for the first 20 miles, a big scary bridge and a puncture 10 miles from the campsite (this time not self-sealing).
Despite the rain that persisted for the first half of the day, we are all warm and dry, courtesy of Bispham Hall Scout Estate, who have not only allowed us to stay free of charge, but – upon hearing of our bedraggled condition – offered us the crew’s quarters to sleep in. We have sofas, bunk beds, a fridge, a sink and, best of all, radiators!

Dan & Will, Amazing endurance by you both we are absolutely in awe. We think cycling 30 miles in 4 hours is heavy. WIMPS IS US.
