Day 4: On the Southern Line

Today could probably be described as “nice”. Pleasant. Nothing exceptional to report but nothing went wrong, either.

After last night’s dire forecasts, the weather alternated between being sunny and cloudy, but didn’t rain.

I was reminded of The Wateringbury Players’ production when we reached a cycle path along a dismantled railway between Sandford and Yatton, quaintly entitled The Strawberry Line, and have been peddling merrily along to the tune of The Straggling Bine ever since.
